Auf den Hundezahn gefühlt: Vom Horror der Sinnfrage in Dogtooth und anderen Filmen des Giorgos Lanthimos
Vor wenigen Tagen hat Robbie Williams sein Biopic Better Man angekündigt. Der Clou dabei: Williams wird von einem CGI-animierten Affen verkörpert. Eine gute Gelegenheit für einen Blick auf Musik-Biopics, die ähnlich kreative Wege gehen.
Wolfgang Beckers Good Bye, Lenin! aus dem Jahr 2003 wärmt auch heute noch die Herzen und hilft, einen versöhnlichen Blick auf die Spannungen zwischen "Ossis" und "Wessis" zu entwickeln – auch den Moloch Berlin sieht man danach in einem sanfteren Licht.
Die amerikanische Modefotografin, Feministin, Künstlerin, Kriegsreporterin und Gourmetköchin Lee Miller bekommt mit Die Fotografin endlich das große Biopic, das sie verdient. Der Film von Ellen Kuras mit Kate Winslet in der Hauptrolle zeigt, wie einige ihrer ikonischen Fotos entstanden sind. Vier von ihnen zeigen wir hier – im Original und in der filmischen Entsprechung.
